Strong marketing work involves communication and strategy. At Saagara, a digital health start-up company, I used many inbound marketing techniques to promote the company, taking on a variety of projects using blog marketing, guest blogging, and affiliate marketing. I did a fair amount of website work to maximize SEO. The online strategies proved hugely successful; we experienced an increase in sales, visitors to the company site, and followers on facebook and twitter. I also worked on some more tangible direct marketing projects such as press advertisement and proposals for competitions and scavenger hunts to boost awareness of our brand, mission, and products.
