While “social media” is full of the latest, hottest marketing tools, I prefer to think of social media as connecting people rather than simply a tool. At Saagara, I used Facebook and Twitter as the main social media outlets. I kept track of metrics for each site and tracked our followers and comments. In Twitterverse, I tweeted from two perspectives– that of a start-up company looking for advice and suggestions about marketing, and that of a potential customer interested in the company and the products. On Facebook, I created an official Saagara company page and updated it with all company updates. Please see below for examples of projects.
